I’m Rakhi, the founder-partner of this platform.
Remembering You was born from a deeply personal space — shaped by the love and loss of two women who meant the world to me: my mother and my sister-in-law. After their passing, I longed for a place where their memories could be shared and celebrated. A space where, on their birthdays or anniversaries, friends and family could leave a tribute. Most importantly, I wanted to honour their legacy by turning remembrance into purpose — by giving back in their name.
Creating this platform has been a journey of love, and I haven’t walked it alone. My heartfelt thanks to my husband and co-founder, Amitee, who supported me from the very beginning and helped shape and manage the concept as well as the venture. To Varuni Narang, for seeing it through and bringing the vision to life on the website. To Rohini, for her beautiful and thoughtful copywriting. And to India Internets, for designing the platform with care.
I am also deeply grateful to my mentors — Souparno Banerjee, Aparajita Gogoi, and Arun Kumar — for their belief in me and their continued guidance.
Remembering You is more than just a website. It’s a space to celebrate life, honour memories, and carry forward legacies through compassion and connection.
Remembering You (RY) is a heartfelt platform where you can share memories and honour your loved ones by giving back — through donations made to a cause that reflects their values and legacy.
Though RY is structured as a for-profit entity, the platform does not take any money directly from users. Every donation made goes directly to the chosen charity’s account. To cover essential operational costs RY charges a small administrative fee from the charity, not from the donor.
Our goal isn’t profit — it’s purpose. This platform was created to offer the kind of space I once longed for myself: a simple, meaningful way to remember, to give, and to keep love alive through impact.
